The group greenhouse gas emission will work with a carbon emission diagnosis tool for all project partners, called CAP2ER (French for “Automatic Calculations of Environmental Performances in Cattle Husbandry”). This tool, already developed by the partner Idele, must be improved by integrating databases and measure units of the other partners and translated into German for the Swiss and German project actors. The different partners will also be trained on this new tool.
Afterwards, the group will produce a certain number of emission diagnoses on different pilot farms in Alsace, in Baden and in Switzerland in order to compare them according to various criteria. These data will allow the group to formulate a set of recommendation to reduce one’s emissions.
